Description

At her beloved stepmother's suggestion, Shelby tries to move on and find a girlfriend her own age. That leads her straight into her local roller derby league. She is instantly attracted to and obsessed with Chasey, the captain of the Cathylick Grrls. Shelby discovers that even to get close to her, she must teach herself how to roller skate, and she learn to love roller derby. After all, her stepmom tells her that great sex is earned, not given by merely showing up.

Warning! This 10,000+ word short story contains graphic descriptions of lesbian sex with a strap-on dildo.

Excerpt:

Only, my Cathylick Grrls tryout didn’t go exactly as I foresaw. When I showed up, I passed by Chasey while headed to the flat track. She grinned broadly at me. “What’s up, pillow butt?”

I muted my response. After all, this was a sport where I couldn’t allow myself to have a thin skin. If I wanted her to notice me the way I wanted, I knew I couldn’t be the whiny brat I normally could be. Though, the spotlight was definitely on. No other woman had shown up for these tryouts, and so that put a lot of pressure on me to step things up. Not to mention, all the girls –Chasey included – seemed mean. Some of them walked around me, scrutinizing me as if I were a slab of meat. I heard it all – fashion girl, rich bitch, and so on. No doubt a lot them had seen me around campus while going to class. Only, if they would have looked a little closer, they would have noticed that I had no friends, and their attempt to cast me as a stereotypical daddy’s girl or wealthy snob wasn’t necessarily true. Sure, I may have dressed the part, but it wasn’t how I chose to act once I left home. Plus, I grit my teeth and wouldn’t let myself get flustered.

The actual tryout turned out to be quite brutal. First, they had me as a jammer. Each time I built up speed and zipped around the track, I was met by somebody’s elbow. I caught it in the face a few times, as well in the stomach. Many other times, a hip or a butt bump knocked me off my feet. The result was always the same: I hit the floor and rolled a few times, and I also landed on my ass quite a bit. Once, Chasey offered her hand to help me up. She even winked at me, saying, “Don’cha wish you had a pillow strapped to your butt?” I just furrowed my brows at her, in response. The worst, however, came when I actually tried to level her. She spun out of my way and sent me shins-first in the team bench at the center of the track.

After that, the team moved me into a blocker position. So, my job was to try and not let Chasey or other jammers past me. Only, it seemed like a coordinated case of dive bombing. They never actually tried to go around me. They seem more interested in crashing into me and knocking me down. Each time, I got back up and tried to keep my face devoid of emotion. Part of me, the more I thought about it, realized what was going on here. Only, at the time, I wasn’t going to be able to get any confirmation. Plus, I didn’t want to slow myself down by thinking and rethinking everybody’s motives. I needed to just instinctively react, as I wanted to learn quickly how not get leveled or knocked down.

Though, towards the end of the tryout/practice, Chasey got her comeuppance. She sailed in to deck me, again. Only when she had committed her weight forward and threw herself at me, I dropped down into a rolling squat. Her legs hit my shoulders, and I tripped her. She sailed into a bunch of other girls, knocking them over like bowling pins. When I skated over to help her up, I noticed the meanness was gone from her eyes. There was some sort of admiration there ...
